Draw hummingbirds and butterflies into your landscape with a garden full of their favorite plants and flowers. Ideally, this garden should be situated in proximity to a surfaced area with a bench on it, so that individuals can sit near the garden quitely, to view the hummingbirds and butterflies without discouraging them from visiting the flowers they like best. Your garden can be located in a private part of the landscape or, in smaller areas, can be adapted to a site next to a patio or deck. Several Buddleias, or Butterfly Bushes, have been included to ensure the visitation of butterflies. Hummingbirds are charmed by a range of flowers and colors but are especially attracted to cupped or trumpet-shaped flowers, whether large or small. Increase the number of these creatures in your garden by including a few large, dense shrubs nearby for hummingbird nesting-it's the perfect invitation for them to stay a while.
