Thunbergia is native to tropical eastern Africa, and is often cultivated for its attractive flowers. A vigorous twining vine, it will grow from 3-8 feet tall in a single season. The plants are not very drought tolerant and should be watered regularly for optimum growth. Blooms from late spring to fall.
