Zone: 4 to 9
Full Sun to Part Shade
Blooms mid-summer to early autumn
Cultivar Notes - 'Kopper King'
Gigantic flowers up to 12" wide sit atop robust, shrub-like plants from mid to late summer. The white flowers have striking red eyes which bleed out through the veins in the petals. Each successive spring will bring larger flowers.
Genus Notes - Hibiscus
Hardy hibiscus form large bushy plants. They bloom mid- to late-summer and have absolutely huge, glorious crepe paper-like flowers. They grow best in full sun in moist soil. Hibiscus are very late to break dormancy and need temperatures above 50F before growth will appear.
