Cultivar Notes - 'Golden Alexander'
Similar habit to 'Alexander' except slightly more compact, and rather than creamy white margins, this sport glistens with its deep golden margins. Same cheery yellow flowers produce a surprisingly nice summer display of yellow on yellow.
Genus Notes - Lysimachia
Loosetrifes have an old-fashioned charm and spread rapidly from the roots. In the moist soil they prefer, they are nearly unstoppable. Plant them in near-wild situations, where they can run and bloom with abandon. The taller types are excellent cut flowers.
