ATTRIBUTES       Cultivar Notes - Baby Blue This is the tightest, most compact, mounded form to date and it won’t grow to split in the center. The prolific crop of sizeable, baby pink flowers age to a beautiful baby blue. Genus Notes - Pulmonaria Pulmonaria is an underused but wonderful shade garden plant with colorful foliage and very early bloom. Flower clusters on stems with small leaves emerge early spring prior to the more decorative mature foliage. It is especially attractive when planted among hostas, ferns, and brunneras. Its flowers are among the most brilliantly colored blossoms of all perennials. Tolerates moist soil and full shade. |
