Genus Notes - Anemone
Anemones are graceful plants with flowers borne on wiry stems that sway in the wind. The genus includes dainty spring wildflowers and the elegant, fall-blooming Japanese hybrids, which can grow 3' tall or more.

Anemones are a superb perennial for late-summer and autumn color, and they grow best in moist, well-drained soil. Plant in mass near the back of the border for spectacular fall color.
