Cultivar Notes -
Lil’ Kim (‘Antong Two’)
The original dwarf rose of Sharon! Lil’ Kim® rose of Sharon is a unique little shrub: every branch is packed with saucer-like white flowers graced with a starry red eye. Truly dwarf habit creates a whole new palette of landscape uses. Developed by noted plantsman Dr. Shim of South Korea, as with the rest of the series, Lil’ Kim® Red and Lil’ Kim® Violet.
Genus Notes -
Hibiscus
Hardy hibiscus form large bushy plants. They bloom mid- to late-summer and have absolutely huge, glorious crepe paper-like flowers. They grow best in full sun in moist soil. Hibiscus are very late to break dormancy and need temperatures above 50°F before growth will appear.
