Cultivar Notes -
Orange Beauty
Cheerful, bright orange black-eyed flowers bloom all summer long on vigorous vining growth. A sun lover that provides abundant color in large containers, hanging baskets and window boxes, or on supports such as trellises, fences and walls.
Genus Notes -
Thunbergia
Thunbergia is native to tropical eastern Africa, and is often cultivated for its attractive flowers. A vigorous twining vine, it will grow from 3-8 feet tall in a single season. The plants are not very drought tolerant and should be watered regularly for optimum growth. With an extensive variety of species with magnificent colors, Thunbergia look good in window boxes, mixed containers or climbing on trellises, arbors, fences or other structures around the home, and as a groundcover. Blooms from late spring to fall.
