Cultivar Notes - 'Compact Neon Pink'
'SunPatiens Compact Neon Pink' Impatiens shows off its bright pink, perfectly-shaped blossoms against dark, lush green foliage sporting lighter green venation, midribs and stems. Like the entire compact series, Compact Neon Pink will stay true to its color, even when the weather turns hot or stormy, and is not affected by downy mildew. This one has been known to turn heads!
Genus Notes - Impatiens
Shade plants can be hard to find and New Guineas fill that niche with vibrant beauty. These plants have large flowers, dark green to purple foliage, and a variety of color choices. Perfect in shade combination planters, pots, baskets and the landscape.
Series Notes - SunPatiens®
These impatiens perform brilliantly in full sun and heat, giving growers, landscapers, retailers and consumers plenty of reasons to be excited about this series.

Until recently, any reference to impatiens often included a phrase like “the perfect choice for shady gardens.” With the advent of New Guinea Impatiens more than 20 years ago, these varieties would at least tolerate some sunshine, although they still performed quite poorly under hot conditions.

The new SunPatiens® bred by Sakata are truly the first impatiens that will perform brilliantly in full sun and sweltering heat — but also show more vigor and flower power in shady or cooler environments than their popular predecessors.
