Cultivar Notes - 'Ballade'
This spring sweetheart is a lush blend of deep red, magenta and plum all swirled together and finished with ivory petal edges and a tiny yellow base. Ballade looks amazing planted in front of a white picket fence, light colored wall or mixed with vibrant pink tulips.
Genus Notes - Tulipa
Tulips are one of the easiest bulbs to grow. Just plant bulbs in the fall in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade for great color the following spring. Exposure to full sun will bring out the rich colors that tulips offer, but some shade will enable a longer blooming period and still offer a colorful addition to your yard or garden.
