Cultivar Notes - 'Mix'
Dense-spikes of brightly colored, pea-shaped flowers, May-June. Use for borders, beds, cuttings.
Genus Notes - Lupinus
The remarkable genus Lupinus is found to be native to all 50 U.S. states; it is rare to find a person that does not love the tall spires of flowers that can be found in solid and bicolor patterns. Unsurpassed early summer color with dense spires of pea-shaped flowers. Plants grow best in cooler climates. Deadhead old flowers to promote rebloom.
Series Notes - Russell Hybrid
Russell Hybrids Lupines grow about 1 foot taller and bloom about 2 weeks later than the Popsicle Series Lupines.
