(What's my zone?)
Zone: 4 to 10Perennial
|Blooms early summer to late summer|
Cultivar Notes - 'Indian Summer'
Huge showy flowers bloom all summer. Stunning in butterfly or flower gardens and lovely kn bouquets. Grown as an annual or short-lived perennial; will reseed.
Genus Notes - Rudbeckia
This genus of North American natives are rugged perennials that thrive in a wide range of soils; all they demand is lots of sun. Black-eyed Susan is very easy to naturalize. All have yellow daisy-like flowers with dark cone-shaped center. Excellent for mass color display in the sunny border. A landscaper's and gardener's favorite for mid- to late summer color.
