Cultivar Notes - 'Greek Oregano'
Tender, sweetly spicy leaves with excellent falvor. Adds zest to Greek, Italian and Mexican cuisine and complements tomato dishes, beef or lamb stew, graviews, soups, salads or casseroles. Use fresh, dried or fresh frozen. Harvst before flowering.
Genus Notes - Origanum
In addition to Sweet Marjoram, Origanum includes purely ornamental plants with dense clusters of small, tubular flowers as well as aromatic foliage. In well-drained soil, they spread rapidly. Drought tolerant.
