ATTRIBUTES       Cultivar Notes - Jim Crockett This selection is named in honor of the Jim Crockett, first host of The Victory Garden television show. Similar in effect to a midsized fall-blooming Aster. Mounding blue-green leaves bear a billowing cloud of lavender-mauve daisies from late summer into autumn. Foliage is resistant to powdery mildew. Great for cutting. An excellent compact selection. Genus Notes - Boltonia Boltonias are natives that produce frothy masses of Aster-like blooms. They are disease resistant and tolerant of dry soil and drought. Excellent in a less-than-disciplined flower border or wild garden. |
