Just like its name, ‘Toffee Tart’ displays differing shades of ginger caramel throughout the seasons. In spring, newest leaves are amber with a silver overlay. Since it’s a lighter leaf color, we recommend providing at some shade protection (do not plant in full sun). Creamy white flowers are held on burgundy stems. Each 4-4.5” leaf has rosy purple undersides, revealed with the intense ruffling of the leaves. Oldest leaves have a slight silver overlay. This plant is a Heuchera villosa hybrid. The villosa species is a large, late blooming type that exhibits an increased tolerance of high heat and humidity over other species. Most produce cream flowers in midsummer, though they are grown more for their fantastic foliage. H. villosa is native to the southeastern United States.

The name says it all! Massive glossy, mahogany red leaves form a substantial clump of foliage. Slightly ruffled leaves can grow up to 6 inches wide. The flower stems are proportionate to the size of the clump: very thick, burgundy stems holds masses of light pink buds with cream flowers. Although the color is consistent throughout the season, older leaves become more coppery with age.

An improvement over ‘Pretty Pistachio’ in the PRIMO® collection. Growers who loved the large chartreuse leaves of ‘Pretty Pistachio’ can expect the same from the new version, as well as the upright scapes of light pink flowers. ‘Pistachio Ambrosia’ has a similar robust landscape presence as its predecessor but is less prone to burning or leaf discoloration. A sight to behold! The leaves of ‘Jack Frost’ are intricately detailed with a crackle-like finish. Though the leaves are dark green, they have a heavily frosted overlay which allows only the green veining to show through. This next generation hybrid of ‘Royal Standard’ will blow the old garden staple out of the water and is the perfect addition to your fragrant Hosta collection. A more polished plant than its parent with thicker foliage, ‘Royal Crest’ has medium green, shiny leaves that show heavier substance than traditional fragrant varieties. One of the largest hostas available today, with 16”, broadly ovate leaves and a huge, mounded form. Appreciates even moisture but adapts well to average border conditions. Plants do not spread at the root or become invasive, though they may self seed a little. Should not be confused with the noxious weed Purple Loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria). Wonderful for cutting. Attractive to butterflies. Use gloves when gathering and saving seed, as these have sharp barbs or prickles.

An extremely popular evergreen groundcover. ‘Dart’s Blue’ forms a dense mat of glossy dark green leaves, studded with light-blue flowers in spring. Very shade tolerant, the leaves will sometimes scorch in too much sun. Tolerates dry shade once plants are established. Stems root into the ground readily, and the new plants that form may be easily moved to a new location in spring or early fall. Mowing the patch low after blooming every couple of years will help to keep it thick. Plant 4 to 10 plants per square yard. Differs from the straight species or ‘Bowles’ Variety’ in having slightly larger leaves and blooms, and flowers in a softer tone of blue. Reported to have improved disease resistance.

A very unique look for Bergenia. White flowers have a pink throat with color radiating down each petal. The petals are then edged with a matching thin pink picotee margin. Individual flowers are above average in size at 1¼” wide. By the flowers, stems are bright rose pink before transitioning to green near the base. Wavy, serrated leaves are extra thick with prickly toothed edges.
