Tips for Efficient Printing
Before proceeding:
  • To print more columns on a single page, print the report in Landscape mode. To do this, change your printer's 'Orientation' to Landscape in your browser's Printer Settings dialog box.
  • Hide unneeded columns (to reduce print output width) by unchecking column names in the 'View Preferences' box at the bottom of this screen. If this screen is currently in the 'Plant Images Only' view, you must first click the 'Display In List Format' checkbox before you can hide the columns you do not want to print. Your print output will match whatever you are viewing here.

Lenten Rose Helleborus x hybridus
1. Anna's Red
‘Anna’s Red’, a brand new introduction 12 years in the making. You’ll have a hard time deciding what you like better about this hellebore: its incredibly unique spring foliage or its bouquet of deep purple-red flowers which appear the first year after vernalization.

The foliage emerges in spring bronzy green with electric pink veining, like a pair of pink fishnet stockings has been wrapped around each leaf! As the evergreen foliage matures, the marbling turns cream and remains attractive all year long. Dark purple buds on red stems open to single, rounded, saturated purple-red flowers with bright chartreuse nectaries. They appear for months from late winter into mid-spring.

6. Fantasy Ruffles
Rare, double-white flowers with heavy strawberry spots have three times the number of petals of most Hellebores and can reach over 3 inches across, making it the most sought-after form across the United States. While extremely rare, doubles will keep their showy flowers for twice the time of the singles.   Click to display 'Fantasy Ruffles' tag image 18"-22" 24" 4-8 10" Black

8. Golden Sunrise
'Golden Sunrise' is a mixed strain of canary yellow hellebores so each plant is slightly different. Some are solid yellow, but most exhibit some degree of red veining and a red picotee edge. Some have a nicely contrasting red starburst center.   Click to display 'Golden Sunrise' tag image 18"-22" 24" 4-9 10" Terra Cotta
9. Ivory Prince
This beautiful hellebore was selected by the breeder for its vigorous growth rate, uniform crop production, and compact, upright habit. Unlike hellebores from seed, at least 85% will bloom the first year after vernalization.

From late winter through mid-spring, rich burgundy-pink buds open to beautiful ivory blossoms which take on rose and chartreuse tones as they age. They are outward facing and open flat for best display.

This selection has particularly attractive dark green foliage with silver veining which remains compact as it matures.
