Tips for Efficient Printing
Before proceeding:
  • To print more columns on a single page, print the report in Landscape mode. To do this, change your printer's 'Orientation' to Landscape in your browser's Printer Settings dialog box.
  • Hide unneeded columns (to reduce print output width) by unchecking column names in the 'View Preferences' box at the bottom of this screen. If this screen is currently in the 'Plant Images Only' view, you must first click the 'Display In List Format' checkbox before you can hide the columns you do not want to print. Your print output will match whatever you are viewing here.

7. Cassian

8. Ginger Love
If you like 'Red Head,' you will love this dwarf selection. Its smaller size makes it easy to fit into most gardens. Long, plump, reddish inflorenscences appear prolifically above the green, clumping foliage beginning in late summer. Foliage takes on coppery bronze tones in fall. 12C-South Click to display 'Ginger Love' tag image n/a 24"-36" 24"-36" 5-9 8" Terra Cotta

Soft, greenish-cream colored panicles begin to appear in midsummer, a few weeks earlier than the species. 12C-South Click to display 'Hameln' tag image 24"-36" 12"-24" 5-9 8" Terra Cotta
Fountain Grass (Miniature)
10. Little Bunny
A truly miniature fountain grass, 'Little Bunny' stands only 18" tall when in bloom. Cute cream-colored, tufted seed heads look like a bunch of little bunnies' tails dancing above the dense clump of dark green foliage. The blooms begin to appear in midsummer.

Due to its small size, this variety is particularly well-suited to sunny rock gardens, containers, or the front of the border. It originated as a seedling of P. 'Hameln'.

15. Sky Rocket
Green leaves with white striped margins form a beautiful vase-like clump topped with smoky pink, arching plumes that turn cream as they age. Since the plumes are sterile, the plant blooms from midsummer all the way into mid-fall.

A terrific companion to the temperennial grass Pennisetum s. ‘Fireworks’ , this green and white sport is a strong grower that exhibits stable variegation all season long.

This tender grass is perfect for adding height and structure to combination container plantings. Like ‘Fireworks’, it should be grown as an annual in most parts of the country.
