What's My Zone?
Zone: 3 to 9Perennial
|Blooms early summer to early autumn|
Cultivar Notes - 'Bilberry Ice'
Triangular, snow white blossoms with a fuzzy splash of lavender in the center. Each 1-2 inch wide, 3-petaled flower only lasts for one day, but the plants have lots of buds, extending the bloom time up to eight weeks. The flowers are self-cleaning.
Genus Notes - Tradescantia
Tradescantias are robust plants with grasslike foliage; handsome, three-petaled flowers; and easy-going dispositions. Blooms last just a day, but they are borne in profusion from late spring through midsummer. Plants rebloom in late summer if cut back after the first round of flowering.
