What's My Zone?
Zone: 4 to 9Perennial
|Blooms late summer to early autumn|
Cultivar Notes - 'Britt Marie Crawford'
Broad, glossy, dark chocolate leaves with dark purple undersides make an extremely bold statement in the garden. In late summer, golden orange, daisy-like flowers are perched atop purplish-black stems for an all-together captivating composition.
Genus Notes - Ligularia
Ligularias are bold, lush plants for a partially shaded location where the soil stays constantly moist, even soggy. They form large clumps of beautiful foliage and flowering spikes late summer. Foliage readily wilts in the afternoon sun with insufficient moisture.
