Cultivar Notes - 'Andante'
Regarded by some as the best large Miscanthus on the market. The leaves are green with a pronounced silver central stripe. From late summer thru fall, huge, feathery plumes emerge pink and turn a frosty silver color as the season progresses.
Series Notes - Warm Season Grasses
Warm season grasses grow most actively during the warmer months, then flower in late summer or fall. Most go completely dormant in winter. Warm season grasses include: Andropogon, Calamagrostis brachytricha, Carex, Cortaderia, Erianthus, Hakonechloa, Miscanthus, Panicum, Pennisetum, Schizachyrium, and Sporobolus.
