Cultivar Notes - 'Looking Glass'
Silver jewels for the shade! Standing an impressive 12-15 inches tall, 'Looking Glass' sports leaves with an all-over sterling silver patina. This solid silver coating is developed as the leaves age, by early summer.
Genus Notes - Brunnera
Brunneras are classic perennials that are treasured for their shade tolerance and lovely blooms. They make a fantastic groundcover, though the variegated forms may be slower to spread than the species. Try growing them in containers too so they will be close at hand when you want to snip a few blooms for a spring bouquet.

Beautiful woodland plant, preferring moist soils and plenty of humus. If the soil becomes too dry, the foliage easily crinkles and dies. Attractive forget-me-not type flowers bloom late spring into early summer. Use only in areas where adequate moisture is supplied.
