Cultivar Notes - 'Silver Mound'
Aptly named, 'Silver Mound' has soft, feathery foliage and forms compact, silky, cushion-like mounds. It has many applications in the garden including: edging, rock gardens, pots, or a filler plant for hot, dry areas.
Genus Notes - Artemisia
Artemisias are easily grown aromatic herbs with splendid silver foliage. They bring out the best in companions of every color. Most require good drainage and are exceedingly tolerant of drought. These perennials are grown mostly for their colorful, ornamental foliage. Most are very drought tolerant and prefer well-drained, more alkaline soils.
