Cultivar Notes - 'Hillside Black Beauty'
Masses of striking, dark purplish-black foliage contrasted by long, white bottlebrush blooms fascinates the eye and peaks everyone's curiosity. The darkest Cimicifuga to date, 'Hillside Black Beauty' is truly a collector's item.
Genus Notes - Cimicifuga
Large, upright perennial for late-summer bloom. Long bottlebrush-like flowers are fragrant and form attractive seedpods. Plants prefer moist soil and semi-shade. Will tolerate more sun if adequate moisture is supplied. Use in the moist perennial or woodland garden.
