Cultivar Notes - 'Graziella'
This cultivar was selected specifically for its earlier flowering time and fall color. Its thin, upright, green leaves form arching mounds and turn copper-red in the fall. In late summer, soft silvery-white plumes are held high above the foliage.
Series Notes - Warm Season Grasses
Warm season grasses grow most actively during the warmer months, then flower in late summer or fall. Most go completely dormant in winter. Warm season grasses include: Andropogon, Calamagrostis brachytricha, Carex, Cortaderia, Erianthus, Hakonechloa, Miscanthus, Panicum, Pennisetum, Schizachyrium, and Sporobolus.
Genus Notes - Miscanthus
These large Grasses add texture to fresh and dried arrangements. All have winter beauty to equal their summer charm, and they are not the least bit picky about soil.
