Cultivar Notes - 'Morning Light'
An especially refined and elegant ornamental grass. Fine leaf blades are green with clean, paper-thin, white margins that give the plant a silvery cast when viewed from a distance. Many consider 'Morning Light' to be one of the finest Miscanthus cultivars
Series Notes - Warm Season Grasses
Warm season grasses grow most actively during the warmer months, then flower in late summer or fall. Most go completely dormant in winter. Warm season grasses include: Andropogon, Calamagrostis brachytricha, Carex, Cortaderia, Erianthus, Hakonechloa, Miscanthus, Panicum, Pennisetum, Schizachyrium, and Sporobolus.
Genus Notes - Miscanthus
These large Grasses add texture to fresh and dried arrangements. All have winter beauty to equal their summer charm, and they are not the least bit picky about soil.
