Bright violet-blue flowers backed by eye-catching variegated foliage make this plant really stand out in the garden. To keep the foliage looking nice, this variety needs protection from afternoon sun.

Genus Notes -

Polemonium

Polemoniums (Jacob’s Ladders) are delicate plants for a moist, partially shaded location. They are very floriferous clump-forming perennials for the shade garden. Plants form thick clumps with upward spikes of fragrant blue flowers. Plants require partial to full shade and grow best in cooler climates.
