Cultivar Notes - 'Orange A-PeelŪ'
Fun, vibrant colored vines are excellent for hanging baskets and trellises and have a stunning display when both colors are planted together. They have excellent heat tolerance.
Genus Notes - Thunbergia
Thunbergia is native to tropical eastern Africa, and is often cultivated for its attractive flowers. A vigorous twining vine, it will grow from 3-8 feet tall in a single season. The plants are not very drought tolerant and should be watered regularly for optimum growth. With an extensive variety of species with magnificent colors, Thunbergia look good in window boxes, mixed containers or climbing on trellises, arbors, fences or other structures around the home, and as a groundcover. Blooms from late spring to fall.
