Painted Paradise New Guineas have variegated foliage that works well in stand alone baskets and adds interest to mixed containers. It is an excellent choice for all sorts of shady areas in your garden. The upright habit is great for filling in the middle ground of shady combinations. Resistant to Impatiens Downy Mildew.

New Guinea Impatiens, named for their native habitat of Papua New Guinea, have been a mainstay in spring and summer programs since their introduction the US in 1972. Years of breeding and hybridization have made this plant a versatile choice in landscape, baskets and combination planters for many growers.

Shade plants can be hard to find and New Guineas fill that niche with vibrant beauty. These plants have large flowers, dark green to purple foliage, and a variety of color choices. Perfect in shade combination planters, pots, baskets and the landscape.
