Cultivar Notes -
Boldly® Dark Red (Calliope)
Boldly™ is a new series of which will take the place of Daredevil® in the Proven Winners® line-up. Boldly™ plants have a mounded habit, are heat tolerant and are perfect for mono containers or in combination with other medium vigor varieties.
Series Notes -
Boldly®
Classy, bright and gorgeous geraniums, Boldly® is a long and continuous blooming variety that comes in a range of deep reds and bright pinks. Heat- and drought-tolerant, they excel in sunny landscapes and containers but are perfectly happy in mono containers or combined with other medium-vigor varieties.
Genus Notes -
Pelargonium
Confusingly known as geraniums, pelargoniums are in the same plant family as hardy geraniums, but fall into a different genus and bear no resemblance to them at all. They are normally grown as annual bedding plants although they can be overwintered indoors, and are prized for their bright summer flowers and attractive, often fragrant, foliage.

Pelargoniums come in a variety of forms, and most belong to one of the following six horticultural groups: Angel, Ivy-leaved, Regal, Scented-leaved, Unique and Zonal. All thrive in full sun and do best when grown in a sheltered, sunny spot.
