Elephant Ear; West Indian Kale ‘Royal Hawaiian® Maui Gold’ Colocasia esculenta (‘Royal Hawaiian®’ Series)

Maui Gold is the first-ever “clumping” gold-leafed variety, meaning that it stays neat and contained even in semi-tropical and tropical climates. More important, it’s absolutely gorgeous, with bright chartreuse leaves very thinly edged in dark purple and boasting a big purple spot where the leaf meets the stem! You won’t find a more beautiful or easier to grow accent for sun to part shade, and this plant is so compact you can put it in a large container if you like!
