ATTRIBUTES
Cultivar Notes -
Sweet Caroline Bewitched After Midnight™
This mounding upright plant with near black foliage will eventually fall over and trail, but its early upright quality is unique. Its serrated, tattered-type leaf edge is unique, and it is the most compact of the Ipomoeas.
Species Notes -
Ipomoea batatas
Originating in Polynesia, Ipomoea Sweet Potato vines are now a mainstay in U.S. landscaping. These fast-growing sun-lovers are best used as groundcovers, mixed container plants, and cascading elements in combination baskets. With strong, vigorous growth and beautiful runners, Ipomoea show off in any seasonal program.
Genus Notes -
Ipomoea
The only surprising thing about the popularity of Sweet Potato Vines is why it took so long to happen. These choice varieties show the versatility and color impact that’s made these trailers must-haves for containers and the landscape. Very heat tolerant.
