ATTRIBUTES      Cultivar Notes - Fireball Fireball is a blaze of color over many months, its big double blooms opening a rich shade of red and then maturing to orange, bronze, and gold. These flowers measure about 2½ inches wide, packed with frilly petals and that characteristic Marigold aroma. (Like it or not, it’s a great pest deterrent!) Species Notes - Tagetes patula French marigolds are smaller in stature and generally have smaller blooms. Blooms come in an array of styles including crested, anemone, single, and fully double. Longer blooming compared to African types, gardeners enjoy flowers up through frost. Ideal to use as edging in flower beds, mass plantings, and containers. |
