Cultivar Notes - 'Pink Pampas Grass'
The striking, feathery plumes of pampas grass are prized by floral arrangers and gardeners alike. Itís even been used by float decorators for the annual Tournament of Roses parade in Pasadena, California since the early 1900ís!
Series Notes - Warm Season Grasses
Warm season grasses grow most actively during the warmer months, then flower in late summer or fall. Most go completely dormant in winter. Warm season grasses include: Andropogon, Calamagrostis brachytricha, Carex, Cortaderia, Erianthus, Hakonechloa, Miscanthus, Panicum, Pennisetum, Schizachyrium, and Sporobolus.
