This varierty produces 1 1/2" pin-cushion blooms that resemble Scabiosa. Melton Pastels is a mix of soft hues of crimson, mauve, pink, & rose.
Genus Notes - Knautia
Knautias bear hemispheres of tiny flowers on branching, wiry stems for a long period in summer. They want full sun but are not picky about soil, as long as it's well-draining. They are very tolerant of drought.
