Coral BellsHeuchera
1. Changeling
Click to display
A most curious Heuchera! 'Changeling' is so named because of the unique characteristic of changing colors every week or so. From top to bottom, new color emerge. New foliage starts off blushing peach and cherry and changes to champagne and taupe, finally ending up several shades of celadon green, pine, and moss. The strong H. americana bloodline enhances this plant with a sharp, silver veil that highlights the contrasting veins.

For those that loved the bold texture of Cinnamon Curls™ comes an improvement that keeps the popular shape and color, but adds increased vigor and size. Dark burgundy stems hold light pink flowers and dark rose calyxes from early to midsummer. A wonderful color for all seasons.

5. Dolce® Silver Gumdrop
Click to display
If you’re looking for a silver Heuchera to brighten up your shade area, you’ve found it. Unlike other silver Heucheras on the market, ‘Silver Gumdrop’ has vibrant pink flowers instead of the typical white or cream. Match it with its silver, iridescent leaves with a semi-glossy finish and you have a winning combination. ‘Silver Gumdrop’ is a smaller scale Heuchera, the perfect size for a container. Growers and gardeners alike will be pleased that it is a vigorous grower for its size. Its silver leaves take on a rosy blush overtone later in the season for additional interest.

This plant is a Heuchera villosa hybrid. The villosa species is a large, late blooming type that exhibits an increased tolerance of high heat and humidity over other species. Most produce cream flowers in midsummer, though they are grown more for their fantastic foliage. H. villosa is native to the southeastern United States.

7. Dolce® Toffee Tart
Click to display
Just like its name, ‘Toffee Tart’ displays differing shades of ginger caramel throughout the seasons. In spring, newest leaves are amber with a silver overlay. Mature leaves are ginger color with silver overlay. In late summer, leaves mature to green. Since it's a lighter leaf color, we recommend providing at some shade protection (do not plant in full sun). Creamy white flowers are held on burgundy stems. Perfect for brightening up landscapes or serving as a filler in combination containers.

9. Dressed Up™ Ball Gown
Click to display
The chartreuse companion to last year's breakout sensation ‘Evening Gown’! Similar to its dark leaved compatriot, ‘Ball Gown’ has large, heavily ruffled leaves and excellent landscape performance. However, this plant should not be limited to only the garden bed as it has excellent presence in both mixed and mono containers. Ensure good drainage for the best performance.

Compared with Primo® ‘Pistachio Ambrosia’, ‘Ball Gown’ has much more scalloped leaves with a slightly serrated margin and creamy white instead of pink flowers.

10. Electric Plum
Click to display
The foliage on this Heuchera is so bright, it’s electric! New leaves emerge near black and lighten to an intense purple with dramatic black veining. Compared to the popular ‘Grape Expectations’, ‘Electric Plum’ has a brighter purple foliage color, more attractive flowers, and improved floral performance. 18. Obsidian
Click to display
Obsidian is the result of volcanic lava coming in contact with water. This process results in a glassy finish. Heuchera ‘Obsidian’ PP14836 exhibits this same glassy sheen and is closer to black than any other heuchera. The surface and edges of the rounded leaves are so smooth they look like they have been polished. Their undersides are deep purple and exhibit the same glassy finish.

Though this selection is grown mainly for its unusual foliage, its ornamental value is enhanced by the 24 inch tall scapes which bear smoky purple buds that open to cream flowers.

This selection forms a very compact, tight mound of foliage, making it ideal as an edging or in containers. It's fabulous when paired with brightly colored flowers and foliage in the garden. This new variety is destined to become a favorite!

Brightest foliage color will come with filtered shade or morning sun.PRIMO® Heuchera differ from the DOLCE® Series with larger, faster growing habits and a more substanial landscape presence.

Its best color is in part or filtered shade, where we've been pleased to observe almost no burning, a problem that plagues other varieties. Slightly ruffled, chartreuse leaves are produced on an especially vigorous habit, thanks to its Heuchera villosa heritage. The color will be more lime green in deeper shade. Over time, 'Lemon Love' will gradually spread to about 3' wide if given the space. Cream flowers with hints of blush in the calyxes are produced above the foliage in early summer.
