Hardy Pampas Grass

An absolute giant of the ornamental grass world. Considered by many to be the best substitute for Pampas Grass in northern regions, they share similar plumes and height.

Series Notes -

Warm Season Grasses

Warm season grasses grow most actively during the warmer months, then flower in late summer or fall. Most go completely dormant in winter. Warm season grasses include: Andropogon, Calamagrostis brachytricha, Carex, Cortaderia, Erianthus, Hakonechloa, Miscanthus, Panicum, Pennisetum, Schizachyrium, and Sporobolus.

Erianthus

Very large grass with towering plumes, similar to pampas grass. Hardy for northern climates and somewhat drought tolerant.
