Zebra Mallow ‘Zebrina’ Malva sylvestris

Mallows fill the garden with pink or white cup-shaped blooms for a long period that begins in midsummer and continues until fall where summers are mild. They are undemanding plants that want nothing more than lots of sun and well-drained soil.

Closely related to Hibiscus, Malva are more shrub-like with well-branched stems. Small hollyhock-like flowers are produced along the sems and bloom profusely. They are very heat and drought tolerant.
