'Cuban Gold' is a low-growing selection of golden dewdrop that features chartreuse to golden yellow foliage and a well-branched, spreading to mounding habit. Mature plants will reach up to 2' tall and spread to fill a 3' area. Small, light lavender-blue flowers bloom sporadically and are followed by round, berry-like drupes. Primarily grown for the colorful foliage rather than the blooms or fruits.

‘Little Redhead’ is a superior selection of the species, vegetatively propagated to ensure uniformity. Dark red tubular flowers with yellow interiors are produced above top of an upright clump of dark green, wedge-shaped leaves. Everyone who has seen this variety has loved it. This genus requires good drainage to thrive, so do not plant in areas with standing water.

Compared to ‘Little Redhead’ which is a deep red, ‘Ragin Cajun’ has orange red flowers, has more of a rounded habit, and is more floriferous. ‘Silver Peak’ is a branching, clump-forming succulent with upward-facing, elongated, silvery-blue leaves. The leaf margins may turn red when under stress. May display orange, bell-shaped flowers on stalks in summer.
