Cultivar Notes -
Sombrero® Salsa Red
Sombrero® Salsa Red produces softly fragrant, spicy orange-red blossoms with an orange-brown cone. The petals overlap, giving the flowers a fuller, more polished look. They are freely produced from early through late summer.
Series Notes -
Sombrero®
Sombrero® Echinaceas are all very well-branched, sturdy plants that bulk up quickly, do not require vernalization to bloom, and are loaded with buds for a vibrant show of color. They are medium height and form large "bushy" plants with a canopy of bright single flowers blooming all summer.

Genus Notes -
Echinacea
Enchinacea have always been a mainstay in the sunny perennial garden. Their popularity has skyrocketed in recent years due to intensive breeding programs that have produced fantastic new colors and introduced double and semi-double forms. They are easy to grow and tolerate a wide range of conditions, including being drought and heat tolerant.

Coneflowers are rugged perennials with a season of bloom that spans the entire summer. They are indispensable in the garden and excellent for cutting. All they need is plenty of sun and well-drained soil. Attractive cone heads add winter interests and are good for dried arrangements.
