Cultivar Notes -
Aloe Vera, Medicine Plant
The Aloe Vera, in all probability, originates from the Arab region and is an enormously effective medicinal plant with extraordinarily versatile usage. Aloe gel is most effective while fresh and is used to strengthen the immune system, helps with eye maladies, bronchial sufferings, mitigates inflammations and sunburns, and helps with acne and insect stings.
Genus Notes -
Aloe
Aloes can withstand periods of drought, by storing moisture in their fleshy leaves, which have a resilient waxy cuticle covering their surface. The genus name Aloe is derived from the Greek word ’alsos’ which means the ’bitter juice from the leaves.
