ATTRIBUTES
Cultivar Notes -
Blue Cloud
A trouble-free plant whose leaves smell strongly of mint. The small, glaucous green leaves resemble those of Nepeta. Beginning in early summer, tiny, tubular, pale lavender-blue flowers are produced in profusion on upright spikes just above the foliage.
Genus Notes -
Calamintha
Calaminthas (Greek for "beautiful mint") are aromatic herbs containing camphor-like essential oils. You can use the leaves in sachets and potpourris or simply admire the countless tiny flowers that line the stems.
