2012 Spring Seminars
Seminars are being determined. Please check back again shortly.
We are excited to present the following seminars this spring at Vite Greenhouses. Each seminar is FREE to attend. Signup is not mandatory but will help us have a feel for how much seating to provide.
- Room to Bloom Container Workshop; Saturday, April 30 @ 10 AM and 2 PM; Wednesday, May 4 @ 6pm
If you love the containers you see here or in magazines, but don't know how to design them yourself now is your chance to learn. Creating your own container can bring summer-long enjoyment to your home and patio. We grow thousands of containers every year and we would like to share some of our knowledge so you can grow your own masterpiece. We will look at container types, plant characteristics, light requirements, watering and summer maintenance. If you bring your own container you can plant it in our planting area using the same growing mix that we use, or you can purchase a container from us for a special price of 15% off the listed price for seminar attendees. Your cost will be for the plants and materials you use.
