Red Stemmed Parrot Feather stems can be submerged in the pond water (without being rooted into any media), or used as a potted Marginal - submerged into shallow water at the edge of the pond. When used in shallow water the plant will emerge from the water and ‘stand-up’. Either way, it helps to oxygenate the water for fish and algae control.
