Cultivar Notes -
Devon Skies
Although though Sisyrinchium is referred to as a "Blue Eyed Grass", it is actually not an ornamental grass. The grass-like foliage forms compact clumps that are topped with sky blue, star-like flowers with bright yellow throats. ‘Devon Skies’ tolerates heat, humidity, poor soil, and is drought tolerant as long as it has good drainage. The long bloom time of ‘Devon Skies’ make it the perfect plant for rock gardens or the front of the perennial border.
Genus Notes -
Sisyrinchium
Compact native clump forming perennial with narrow grass-like foliage and star-shaped flower. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Good for edging.
