Cultivar Notes - 'Mexican Oregano'
Mexican Oregano is a semi-woody shrub used for culinary purposes in Mexican and Southwestern cuisine, adding a spicy flavor not found with regular Oregano. It will grow to a 24-36” in height with a nice mounding shape, spreading 18-24”. Poliomintha longiflora will be covered with tubular lavender flowers all summer and like most herbs it likes to be cut back, which will keep the flowers coming.
