Cultivar Notes -
Hopflower Oregano
Hopflower Oregano is a vigorous, trailing herb. It produces hop-like bracts of lavender and chartreuse through the summer months; in autumn they turn brown and dry. This plant looks best when cascading over a raised bed, rock garden or container.
Genus Notes -
Origanum
In addition to Sweet Marjoram, Origanum includes purely ornamental plants with dense clusters of small, tubular flowers as well as aromatic foliage. In well-drained soil, they spread rapidly. Drought tolerant.
